The Story of the Project
Every home holds a story. This one began within the solid walls of a former 1950s bank, a building with obvious structural problems but extraordinary potential. That challenge inspired a vision: to transform its former austerity into a warm, welcoming home full of light.The client’s first request was clear: a large open-plan living area. We treated the structural weaknesses as an opportunity, opening up and redesigning the spaces to bring fluidity, harmony and natural light into every room.The project has a green heart. We chose natural materials such as wood-fibre insulation and clay finishes, which regulate the indoor climate and lend visual warmth to surfaces. Careful planning of the building systems ensures maximum energy efficiency.Every interior detail combines aesthetics and responsibility: bespoke furnishings made from ecological materials with clean lines. A Corten feature wall integrated with the glass entrance door becomes a defining element of the project.
